The M24 Monopole® is a derivative of the M16 Monopole® but
with one major exception.
It contains a 'D' profile

The D profile enables for the simplification of the mounting of this
Monopole® onto its appliance chassis.
The M24 Monopole® is supplied with a mounting bracket that is
74mm wide ( ~3.0 ins ) x 50mm high (~ 2.0ins ).
The Bracket is made from Black UHMW/PE and has provisions for 4
x M6 mounting bolts.
The M24 is an interference fit into its corresponding Bracket
mounting hole and is also secured into place with a single M12 Brass locking
Nut.
The effect of the 'D' is that the M24 Monopole® will never
turn in its holding bracket.
A consequence of this design is that the maximum flange diameter
of the M24 Monopole® is 19 mm OD.
The M24 Monopole® is designed to accept standard commercial
spades with a minimum spade tong space width of 7.0mm.
The M24 Monopole® will also accept the FM4 spade.
The M24 Monopoles® are spaced at 35 mm centers.
The closest that the Monopoles® can be placed within the bracket
is at 30mm centers
The M24 Monopole® is not supplied as a single Monopole®; instead it is supplied as a base assembly of 2 x M24 Monopole® in a single UHMW/PE bracket.
The Bracket is 10.0mm thick and quite sturdy. UHMW/PE is second
only to Teflon for dielectric insulative strength.
The Bracket can be made from Teflon but this is considerably more
expensive.
Options.
The Bracket can be made smaller and thinner but there is no price
advantage in this.
The Bracket can be made larger and to any dimension required by
the client and can also be designed to accommodate any number of M24 Monopoles®.
