Morning Glory

The  Morning Glory  interconnect cable from Bocchino Audio is a radical approach to wire and cable construction.
Utilising either the  BrendaTM B2 RCA or Brenda B3 Var. RCA connector Morning Glory represents the first of the Palm Friday 2004 topology designs. PF4T! What the PF4T design allows is the rapid evacuation of the return line in the dual nature of cable topology ( Signal and Return ). Congestion is cleared up rapidly enabling a clean and crisp audition of the music being relayed.

The Morning Glory cable designdoes not emphasise  any single  frequency band at the exclusion of any other. Effortless liquidity with no constraints on signal throughput are evident from the first listen. Instruments and vocals become well placed in an acoustic space where the only sound being heard is what is intended to be heard. The Morning Glory cables possesses  one of the quietest background of any cable heard. Some would say very dark! Dynamic range is almost open ended allowing the reproduction of music with soft being soft and allowing the loudest passages through unimpeded!  There is no 'grain' often complained of in cables using lesser connectors, brass and minimalist designs. Music reproduction is more wholesome and better defined. Everything is more tightly controlled with instruments  clearly marked at their intended location in the sound image portrayed and do not wander. Listening is as fatigue free as is technologically possible. There is no perceptible smearing of the acoustic holographic image location and there is a better portrayal of image depth and 3D acoustic space! Clearly defined spatial cues of the performance venue are more discernible giving a "nearly there" feeling when listening. The Morning Glory has the uncanny property of keeping time and pace with the most complex and dynamic passages without running out of breath, ever!
The first result is that one listens to everything again and again garnering more information than was possible before.
Many listeners have noted the timbral accuracy of all instruments heard with the Morning Glory; Harp pluck and violin sonnance the difference between oboe and bassoon and clarinet are more marked and obvious while electronic keyboard is heard as pure notes without fuzz or deterioration. Distinctions and spacing between piano and harpsichord notes played at a rate of knots are clear without one strike rolling over to the next. Each note is given its pride of place with effortless tenacity and lucidity.

Percussion and bass drum slam are the most realistic ever translated from source to speaker. There is a real kick here!

Vocals see the listener shaking hands with the artist; Jazz vocal and opera vocal deliver true character of the performers diction, intensity and emotion. Intimate renditions with artist and piano or solo performances in a jazz ensemble have the artist in their intended holographic location with their cues, body work and  instrument clearly defined.  Pop and more modern heavy metal deliver quite a surprise. Whereas most heavy metal is heard as a grunge of blending kaleidoscopes competing in a soup with no clear distinctiveness in the blend, with the Morning Glory cable one is faced with a performance that sounds like a well managed composition with all the notes ( with or without their imposed distortions ) as clean partitions in a broader musical scene. Because the Bass is very tight and controlled low frequencies in the music score do not sound like they are coming from a blender but from their own artist and the artists' musical intention is translated faithfully.  Sound staging is equally tight; Only the ambience that was there when the performance was recorded is reproduced: Not a big sound stage and not a compressed soundstage; only the intended one!  There have been no artifices constructed into the Morning Glory. Its construction has been to remain Neutral and garner the full performance from the media being used.  LP's never sounded so good; CD's never sounded so full!

The Morning Glory is a cable, who's construction is very different to anything previous, it  does not pretend.  It delivers all the detail with smooth eloquence and  unhindered honesty. If you want to hear all that is on your recorded media, LP, CD, DVD etc,  the Morning Glory will not only deliver all and some more but it does so from the first note and improves while being broken in and will do so for a very long time.

The Morning Glory cable topology utilises a  Large Pure Copper ( >99.94%+ Cu ) return Earth-Bus and a Fine Silver ( >99.996%+ )  signal wire of rectangular section surrounded by numerous shields and drains. Secured into the BrendaTM B2 at high pressure with the compression engine in both the signal and return locations. Available only with   Silver Plated Copper RCA or BAXLRTM pins1.
BrendaTM B2 RCA's are manufactured from solid Pure Copper Billet!

If considering the purchase of this cable realise that your RCA spacings must be greater than 19mm ( 3/4 inch ) both horizontally and vertically.  Essentially this means that the cable cannot be used in appliances where the spacings are too close.  But! If you want to use the cables in 14/18 spacings you will have to remove the ClawLocks from the B2's.

The Morning Glory offers an emotional involvement with the music being listened to. Precisely because of the simplicity of cable topology and because of the quality of the RCA ( or BAXLRTM ) connectors used.  All contribute to an effortless reproduction of music that enables the listener to enjoy hours of listening pleasure of either their music collection or the sound track from their DVD or other video source. The sound source exhibits the maximum dynamic range achievable from an audio cable.

All Morning Glory Cables are hand built in house and only available direct from Bocchino Audio.

Balanced
The Morning Glory is also available with BAXLRTM  connectors for balanced line appliances and also in hybrid assembly for RCA at one end and BAXLRTM at the other.
